Commercial law firm in Bristol requires a non-contentious Construction lawyer of between 1 and 6 years’ PQE. For the right candidate, this is an exceptional and exciting opportunity to join one of the region’s real power houses in Construction law, offering a clear path to develop within the group. From the outset you will be given the opportunity to work for clients on some of the leading national and regional construction projects across a broad range of sectors including central and local government, health, and renewables. As an integral part of the wider real estate practice, the team provides a significant level of construction support to the firm’s pre-eminent commercial property practice and the successful candidate will form part of this support. In addition to the work undertaken by the team in the domestic market, there is a real growth in work undertaken internationally and the successful candidate will be expected to support this as appropriate. Tasks will include: • drafting building contracts and associated sub-contracts • completing development agreements, maintenance and FM agreements, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, all forms of security documentation, project monitoring and dispute avoidance • Participating in cross department work with the national Projects, Property or Energy team as required.
