A growing Manchester telecoms, video-conferencing and IT solutions business is looking for a Contracts Manager to help the company with its contractual arrangements. This is due to increased growth in recent years (the business now has a turnover of over £100m) and the need for strong contractual governance especially when dealing with their FTSE 100/250 clients.
The new role of Contracts Manager has been created to cope with the growing demands of those clients and it is seen as a key appointment within the business. The role was previously combined within operations but will now standalone in its' own right.
The role will include managing contract activities such as review, drafting (liaising with external company lawyers when necessary), negotiating terms and conditions. The Contracts Manager will also need to communicate with Suppliers, Customers and internal Distribution, Purchasing, and Sales staff to ensure that the risk to the business is minimised.
This important role reports into the Executive Director of Operations and would be part of a new Legal function within the business. This would allow the potential candidate to develop and grow the legal function in line with the ambitious plans of the business.
The ideal individual will have at least 2 years' of experience within a Contracts Manager role, preferably within the telecoms industry, and experience of working within a complex products/service environment. Aside from this ideal Contracts Manager will need to integrate with, and build relationships, with both internal teams and clients.
The atmosphere of the business is very friendly, professional and collegiate. In addition it is a place where you can still make an impact and help the company grow further. They like to reward success and last year key contributors were taken to New York as a thank you.
If you are looking for a company and role to grow your career in a business that will be truly thankful for your involvement this is a great role to look at.
