Assistant Solicitor -Medical Negligence

£45,000- £55,000
Our client an award winning Law Firm is looking to recruit an Assistant Solicitor to join its Medical Negligence team in Manchester.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Solicitor the role will include but not be exclusive to:
Investigating and litigating multi-track Clinical Negligence cases (of £100,000 and above) under supervision
Adhering to strict KPI targets
Working to strict deadlines
Liaising with clients, experts barristers and insurers as necessary
Dealing with all aspects of pre and post issue procedures in a timely and cost effective manner.
Pursuing cases to conclusion.
Complying with LEXCEL guidelines
The Candidate
In order to be considered for the role candidates will:
Be a qualified Medical Negligence Solicitor with a minimum of two years experience
Have the proven ability to run a caseload from instruction through to completion
Have the proven ability to work well within a small team environment
Demonstrate excellent people skills
Have a working knowledge of Proclaim
