Our client is ranked as one of the UK’s leading law firms with nearly 100 partners. They work in a number of practice areas including; Real Estate, Media, Lesiure & Finance. They work with a well-established national and international client base. 

They are now looking to recruit a Legal Cashier on a 2 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a varied and busy role, responsible for both Office account and Client account functions. 

Responsibilities

Raising office account cheque payments.

Processing office account cheque receipts.

Entering supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements.

Entering counsel fee notes, experts and agents.

Processing weekly purchase ledger BACS payment runs.

Monitoring online banking facilities for receipts and payments.

Raising client account cheque payments.

Processing client account cheque receipts.

Operation of designated deposits.

Cover the process of CHAPS through online banking.

Reconciling Bank Statements.

Dealing with queries from fee earners and support staff.

Liaising with the bank.

Candidate Profile

Experience working on Client and Office account, within legal services. 

Ability to deal with large volumes of work and to prioritise your workload.

Knowledge of SARs.

Knowledge of VAT regulations.

A positive, committed and ‘can-do’ attitude.
