This new Library Services Coordinator role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with legal and business research skills.
A top tier US & international law firm with offices in the city are looking to recruit a capable Library Services Coordinator who is responsible for conducting research for the firm’s attorneys, and handling the day to day operation of the library. This role is a fixed term contract to cover the maternity leave of the current Library Services Coordinator and will include:
- supervising the London library team
- identifying and reviewing new and alternative resources,
- providing training and advice to fee-earners on research projects,
- organising research training for trainees and attorneys
- conducting library inductions for new joiners
- actively promoting the library and research service.
This is a twelve month maternity cover contract position. Salary will be paying up to £45,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a law firm and supervising a small team as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and set priorities is also essential.
