Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Excellent opportunity for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant / CILEx to join a National law firm in their central Bristo office.

The firm is seeking a commercially aware paralegal with proven litigation experience to join their Dispute Resolution Group, part of the Civil Litigation Division. The group handles Claimant and Defendant matters across the full range of (non PI, non RTA) work types including commercial, professional negligence, insurance coverage, contract, employment (non tribunal) & financial services. There are a variety of worksources including LEI, private instructions and liability insurers.

Reporting to a supervisor in the team and through them to the partner in charge of the Dispute Resolution Group, you will be involved in some of the claim types detailed above (the successful candidate's skills and experience may determine which of the Group's specialist
teams he or she may be placed). The role will involve personal management (with supervisory support) of your own caseload of up to 40 varied and complex cases. It may also involve assisting senior lawyers on larger cases.

Candidates will need to have a firm legal understanding of civil / commercial litigation through experience in a case handling role and be educated to a minimum of degree standard in legal principles or equivalent (i.e. ILEX qualifications etc).

In return the firm is offering a competative salary of £20,000 - £26,000 depending on experience coupled with an excellent benefits package.
