Are you an ambitious paralegal with commercial law experience looking to secure a Training Contract? Would you be willing to relocate to secure a Training Contract?
We are currently working with an offshore law firm who are looking for two bright and commercially savvy paralegals to join their highly-regarded Corporate and Banking & Finance teams. Starting as a paralegal, there is a genuine career path for progression on to the firm's Training Contract scheme, providing a rare opportunity to qualify as a Solicitor at an exceptional law firm.
Personal specification:
* Minimum 2:1 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree (essential);
* You would ideally have already completed the GDL/LPC, achieving at least a Commendation;
* At least 3-6 months experience in a commercially focused paralegal role with a leading law firm - this is preferable although LPC elective studies in M&A or Banking & Finance would also be preferred;
* Genuine desire to pursue a career in Corporate or Banking & Finance Law working with FTSE 100 companies.
The role:
* Providing well-rounded assistance to the Corporate or Banking & Finance team with unrivalled exposure to clients and partners;
* Exposure to banking, structured finance, investment funds, corporate and commercial and dispute resolution matters, assisting well-known FTSE 100 clients;
* Undertaking legal research and contributing towards the Knowledge Management functions of the firm and reporting to the wider market;
* Actively contributing towards business development opportunities for the Business & Trust Law group;
* Drafting legal documents, identifying important information necessary to support decision-making and preparing court bundles.
The salary for this role is £25-28k, subject to experience.
