CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE PARALEGAL - LIVERPOOL / CHESTER
Clinical Negligence Paralegal – The top tier clinical negligence team of this highly regarded national firm is looking to hire a paralegal who is looking to develop their career in healthcare litigation. Candidates will previous clinical negligence experience are invited to apply and our client has also stressed they are willing to consider those with EL/PL experience.

THE TEAM IN LIVERPOOL
Healthcare litigation, specifically clinical negligence is a highly technical are of law. Our client has an outstanding reputation in the healthcare sector for defending clinical professionals at all levels. This expertise is spread throughout a national network, which means that though the successful candidate will be based in Liverpool, they could in theory be assisting on high value cases from around the country.
This role is designed for someone who is looking to develop their career in clinical negligence. Our client encourages people from a broad background to apply including those with EL/PL experience as well as clinical negligence, whether claimant or defendant experience.
The key is strong attention to detail and a real commitment to this area of law. You will assist more senior fee earners on a range of matters which will involve:
- analysing medical data and drafting witness statements;
- analysing liability and quantum;
- developing negotiating skills in relation to negotiating and settling claims; and
- engaging in client secondments where necessary (see below).
CLIENT SECONDMENTS
This role goes hand-in-hand with a regular secondment opportunity which exists between the firm and one of its largest healthcare clients. This will afford the successful candidate with the chance to really understand how the law is put into practice and how their work can directly influence the outcome for the client.
