THE ROLE
A lawyer with 3-5PQE is now sought to join the investment management team.
This role will involve private investment fund formation and include advising on fundraisings for traditional closed-ended fund products, the restructuring of investment managers and investment advisers, the acquisition of fund management groups, and working with clients to navigate the various regulatory issues affecting investment management matters.
The group acts for a broad range of international private equity and other private investment fund sponsors, including buyout, infrastructure, energy, senior and mezzanine debt, real estate, secondaries, and venture funds, as well as funds of funds.
The London funds practice is an integral part of a global, fully integrated Investment Management practice that is one of the leading practices in the world.
ABOUT YOU
With relevant experience as well as excellent academics you will have handled investment management and fund formation work in a top City or equivalent practice.
You will have strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills, be business oriented and be able to demonstrate an imaginative and commercial approach, combining a high level of awareness in your current field with a commitment to delivering the highest quality standards to the firm's clients.
