McDonald's Restaurants Limited are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the UK in-house legal team, based at the UK Headquarters in East Finchley, London.

The role will report into Head of Legal – Real Estate and Franchising and will involve taking responsibility for all acquisition work carried out by the in-house legal team, including managing the legal process of transactional site acquisitions, undertaking transactional work and mentoring and assisting in the development of other lawyers.
Candidate's Profile
The successful applicant will be a qualified solicitor with strong academic credentials and a broad range of commercial property experience gained with a respected law firm or within an established in-house legal department. Significant experience of property development and complex acquisitions is essential, with some knowledge of planning and construction law. In-house or secondment experience, whilst not essential, will be advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills and an innovative solution-focused approach and strong problem-solving ability, commercial awareness, business judgment and ability to evaluate legal risk.
