Our client, a leading Asset Manager is seeking a Company Secretary assistant to join their team of 2 who support the UK and Offshore subsidiaries.

The Company Secretary role will involve:

  • Fully supporting board and committee meetings, preparation of agendas and info packs, through to taking and distributing the minutes efficiently
  • Responsibility for statutory compliance / corporate filings compliance
  • Contribution to the development and implementation of a Corporate Governance structure 
  • Providing advice and guidance on best practice for the corporate secretariat office

The ideal candidate for the Company Secretary role:

  • Will have 1yr+ experience in a Company Secretary team or corporate role including working in financial services regulated environment
  • ICSA, ACIS or FICS training/qualified
  • Experience of using secretarial databases would be advantageous  
  • Competent at building and maintaining relationships with senior management teams
  • Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail and a strong analytical skill set
