A bright, client focused residential property solicitor is now required for one of the leading central Manchester firms. Our client has an excellent reputation across all commercial and private disciplines and is well known for the quality for work on offer and career progression opportunities. You will be joining an exceptionally well managed firm with a loyal client base.

With numerous departments recommended in the Legal 500 and awards/ accreditations backing up their commitment to staff and client care, there are now over 150 staff and they continue to go from strength to strength.

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years PQE who is experienced at working in a full-service firm rather than high volume conveyancing. You will be dealing with high quality residential conveyancing work to include sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold and re-mortgages and possibly new-builds.

Good organisation skills are a must together with a sound understanding of property law and processes. Some experience to commercial development would be a good to have but not essential.

The firm is proud of the volume of instructions that come through repeat business and recommendation, and there is a culture of client care and relationship building. It is important that you share the firm’s ethos in this regard.

If you are interested in this position, please do not hesitate to contact Joe Rees at the earliest opportunity. Applications treated in strictest confidence.

£500 in Amazon or John Lewis vouchers paid for successful referrals, please ask for details (subject to terms and conditions).

November 2016 testimonial:

After registering with several agencies, I found Thornton Legal to go above and beyond what I was expecting. Initially there was advice and assistance in preparing a suitable cv enabling me to have the best chance of attaining an interview. Constant updates helped me come to the decision of moving my employer, and I didn’t feel any pressure to make a quick decision. They offered sound advice in respect of what the other agencies should be doing on my behalf, in order that I could keep a control of my situation. The service from Thornton Legal stood out compared to the other agencies, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking alternative employment or just looking for advice on the job market.

Thornton Legal has strong relationships with law firms of all sizes and specialisms, and helps build the careers of Solicitors and Paralegals across a broad range of experience levels. The team has over 20 years combined legal and recruitment experience with Nick qualifying as a Solicitor in 2003 and Joe working in the recruitment industry since 2005.
