Real Estate & Projects Paralegal

Our client, a well established City law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a junior candidate to join their Real Estate & Projects team.

You will be exposed to projects, property, procurement and development work, providing an ideal platform to build further experience in property law. Drawing upon Banking, Corporate, Employment and Housing experience, the team is extremely highly regarded for their property work and deal with clients ranging from those in the energy and leisure sector to housing and healthcare. As a Real Estate & Projects paralegal, you will be exposed to a broad range of property work from residential conveyancing through to large PFI projects. Typical responsibilities will include drafting agreements, assisting with property acquisitions and sales, completing Land Registry and SDLT returns, carrying out legal research and provide clients with progress reports.

This role will ideally be suited to a candidate with some experience in Real Estate (6-12 months), preferably on the residential side. You will have a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent and candidates that have already completed the LPC will be preferred. You should possess exceptional drafting skills, have a strong attention to detail and be confident communicating with partners and clients. Previous experience of dealing with local authorities or landlords would be highly desirable.

This a permanent position with a salary up to £22k, subject to experience.
