Our client, a leading life sciences organisation now seeks a lawyer to help support the business on a ftc contract basis to cover for the maternity leave of the current incumbent.
Reporting to the Group General Counsel responsibilities and activities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts:
- NDAs
- MTAs and Feasibility Agreements
- Research Agreements
- Development Agreements
- Manufacturing and Supply Agreements
- Purchase Agreements
- Framework Agreements
- Quality Agreements
- Standard Terms and Conditions
The role will also support the business generally on all operational issues that may arise, including property related matters, compliance issues, regulatory issues, IP portfolio management queries etc as well as providing support to the Group General Counsel from time to time as appropriate on group-related matters including group compliance and M&A transactions.
The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor or if qualified abroad have practised in the UK for a significant period of time and have have prior in-house experience as well as some previous life sciences experience. You will also need to be able to work in a team matrix where required but also have the ability to work independently.
