Associate (Dispute Resolution)
London
At Morgan Lewis, we work in collaboration. From our 29 offices in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, we work with clients ranging from established, global Fortune 100 companies to enterprising start-ups. We provide comprehensive dispute, corporate, finance, restructuring, employment and benefits, and intellectual property services in all major industries, helping clients address and anticipate challenges across vast and rapidly changing landscapes. We approach every representation with an equal commitment to first understanding, and then efficiently and effectively advancing, the interests of our clients and arriving at the best results.
Our Dispute practice is led by highly respected dispute resolution lawyers in the international arena. The Firm handles a wide range of sophisticated and often sensitive issues, including international commercial litigation, international arbitration, and white collar matters. With strong command of the energy and financial services industries – and of all matters that involve fraud investigations and the UK Bribery Act – we have experience in most courts and arbitration venues.
The Disputes Group seeks to hire a technically strong Disputes Resolution Solicitor (England & Wales qualified solicitors only) with an excellent academic record, and solid commercial dispute experience gained at a city based private practice firm, to join our London office Litigation team. The successful candidate will have between two and five years PQE, good communication skills, developed team-working skills and solid commercial acumen. The team is looking for someone who is able to demonstrate experience of handling a varied caseload, and a genuine passion for the legal and factual complexities which typically feature in our cases.
Please note our advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
We are not accepting resumes or referrals from recruitment agencies or headhunters for this position.
Closing date for applications – 23 December 2016
