Our client is a leading international law firm with over 50 offices and nearly 4000 lawyers spanning the globe. Their London based accounts department provides a professional service to the international practice.
They are now looking to hire a Tax and Capital Assistant for the Partner Finance, Tax & Capital team.
There is significant opportunity to gain technical knowledge, with plenty of opportunity to expand the scope of the role.
Responsibilities
Setting up new partner orientation meetings
Providing support with management of partner capital, which includes preparation of loan documentation
Monthly capital account reconciliations
Tracking of days of UK non-resident partners and flagging any issues
Preparation of mortgage reference letters to confirm income levels
Calculation of projected profit shares
Supporting fee earners with international withholding tax management and recovery
Collection of annual data for inclusion in global tax return filings
Maintenance of partner worksite files capturing all partner movements
Assisting with routine entries on UK self-assessment returns
Issuing annual Current Account statements to all partners
Candidate Profile
Previous experience working in a Tax or Finance team
Qualified or Part-Qualified in a relevant tax or accounting qualification (e.g. ATT, AAT)
Good Excel skills
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders in a professional manner
High and focused energy levels
Intellectual curiosity
