Excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join a top 200 ranking law firm in Nottingham.
Your new company
You will joining a private practice firm which has a long established client base of large land owning families, charities, businesses and landed estates. With four offices spread across England to service their target market, this law firm is currently expanding. Due to this growth, an excellent new opportunity for a Commercial Property Paralegal, with a main focus on Planning, has arisen to be based in their Nottingham office.
Your new role
You will be joining the Commercial Property team, reporting directly to the Commercial Property Partner. You'll primarily assist the Partner as well as other members of the team, dealing with tasks such as research, both legal and non-legal related matters, client management, operations and file administration. Your key responsibilities will include dealing with compliance requirements and anti-money laundering checks and you'll also undertake fee-earning tasks such as stamp duty land tax, land registry applications, searches, preparing letters and preparing emails. As well as this you will participate in client relationship management, which will entail monthly reports, annual terms and conditions, billing for key clients and preparing bibles of documents.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be based in Nottingham or the surrounding areas. To succeed in this role, you must have a long term commitment to working in Nottingham and you'll be able to adopt the working practices of those you are assisting. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience working as a Paralegal, specifically within Commercial Property or Planning. You'll also be a team player who has an interest in law and Commercial Property and a strong desire to learn and develop. You'll also possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to prioritise and work efficiently.
