This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Adult Lawyer to join a highly sought after North West-based local authority for a period of 4 months, with the potential for an extension. The workload will cover a wide range of adult social care matters, which will include:
- Ordinary residence queries
- Deprivation of Liberty
- Court of Protection
- Adult mental health work
- No recourse to public funds
- Mental Capacity act
- SEN matters
The ideal Adult Lawyer will come from a public sector background, although candidates with relevant experience within private practice will also be considered.
The role involves a siginificant level of advocacy in the Court of Protection and other Tribunals.
