Family Solicitor - Coventry

A highly regarded, multi office firm are now looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join their established Care Department in their Coventry office. This firm are ranked in legal 500 for their family department and have an excellent reputation in dealing with Care proceedings.

This firm are looking for an experienced Care Solicitor to join their growing team and handle a caseload of primarily public law matters. This firm place emphasis that applicants must have a passion for this area of law to fit with the culture of the department.

The successful solicitor will have responsibilities including;

• Handling a caseload of Public Law Care Proceedings
• Conducting Advocacy at Court including contested hearings
• Networking and business development to promote the department and firm

The ideal applicants will have at least 3 years' PQE although applicants with less will still be considered. The successful solicitor will have excellent opportunities to progress within this department and will assist the head of department with the running of the department.

It is vital that applicants are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.

It is highly desirable that applicants have Children Panel membership or a real motivation to attain this.

The salary for this position is competitive dependent on experience.
