Interim Construction Projects Lawyer – Any Location
Our client is a global force specialising in the energy and engineering industries, operating worldwide, employing in excess of 180,000 staff.
Our client seeks an experienced lawyer to fulfill a short term contract for initially 3 months although extensions may be considered. This could be a homebased role or from any of their network of European offices.
The role will handle a broad, varied remit and requires the role holder to ‘hit the ground running’.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and review tenders and contracts and support negotiations
- Prepare template agreements and T&Cs
- Handle local corporate governance including applications for local licences / permits
- Provide pre-litigation / claims support and claims and litigation management
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and group policies
For consideration, you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Qualified solicitor
- Around 5 or more years relevant post qualification experience*
- English is mandatory, French is advantageous
- Prior in-house experience a distinct advantage
- Must have the ability to identify and analyze critical business issues and apply legal expertise to deliver solutions
- Must be confident and able to build lasting relationships with internal and external partners, commercially minded, highly organized and able to work effectively in teams
