Our client is a leading international law firm who are seeking a funds lawyer to join their office in the Cayman Islands. The firms’ funds team are seen as a market leader on legal 500, their client base is both regional and international, they specialise in formation, restructuring and closure both in distressed and planned scenarios, regulatory enforcement and advising on regulated and unregulated funds.
The team are seeking a funds lawyer with 2-6+ PQE. You must have varied experience in investment funds, including hedge funds, real estate funds and private equity funds, financial services and market regulatory advice. You will be frequently advising equity firms on areas such as leveraged finance, debt restructuring, private equity, syndicated lending and acquisition finance, capital markets and joint ventures. You will be working for a leading client base advising on late stage financings, debt for equity swaps, management buyouts and Management buy-ins and public-to-private. Experience in an international law firm is an advantage but not mandatory.
