THE CLIENT
Our client is a specialist Property, Banking & Property Finance practice with exceptional experience which works with a small, diverse, yet select client-base across the country. They work with SME's, PLC's, house-builders, developers and investors, providing a close-relationship, commercially-minded service to clients. The client company has recently relocated to modern offices just outside Harrogate town-centre and is committed to providing an unrivalled service to the local and wider markets.
OPPORTUNITY
Due to an increased workload, our client is seeking to recruit an experienced conveyancer to join the Property team in their Harrogate office, to deal with a mix of residential and non-residential transactions.
This isn't a high-volume position. You will work closely with a Partner, handling your own workload and assisting the Partner, when necessary, with more complex, niche transactons.
CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of residential and non-residential conveyancing (preferably with CLC qualification), from cradle to grave.
- Be very well organised and able to handle a manageable caseload;
- Understand the conveyancing process, leasehold and freehold and will be able to deal with queries relatively autonomously (but within a supportive team and environment).
- Experience of investing title and reviewing Conveyancing search results
- Ability to identify issues which may impact on lenders security/future marketability.
- Knowledge of sale, purchase and remortgage processes
- Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Educated to GCSE level (minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades A-C)
If you are actively looking for a new firm and for a new challenge where there is the opportunity to work in a close-knit team environment, with a salary above the market rate for the area, then this is the job for you.
