Contentious Construction Associate - Top 50 Law Firm - London City - Associate / Senior Associate
The Firm
A leading International Full Service law firm based in London City are seeking to employ a top quality Contentious Construction associates with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join their highly-regarded Construction Litigation department. The firm is well known for their Contentious Construction expertise and is the go to for clients in both the public and private sector.
The Group
The group is highly ranked for their Contentious Construction work by various legal publications including the 'Legal 500' and 'Chambers & Partners'. The group commonly wins panel appointment for both public and private clients nationwide. Due to the success of the firms Construction division, the team has experienced steady organic growth due to an increase in workloads over the past two years.
The Role
The role will involve advising clients on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes. Associates in the teams' current responsibilities include but are not limited to; Proceedings in the TCC; Alternative dispute resolution; Risk management; Contractual interpretation; Professional negligence; Domestic projects (some international projects); Travel as required; Training and development of juniors when applicable; and Business development and marketing.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be an associate/senior associate with have a minimum 2 years PQE in a leading contentious construction practice. Knowledge of FIDIC and NEC is desirable. Complemented by excellent academics (minimum 2:1 at degree level). Candidates below the stated PQE will be considered if they can demonstrably add value to the practice.
