Senior Legal Counsel

Due to expansion within the business, our client is seeking to make a new appointment and recruit a senior commercial lawyer who will report into the General Counsel and be responsible for legal issues across the business and as well as managing a small team of 3 lawyers.

We are looking for a lawyer with commercial experience gained in-house or in a leading law firm. This is a senior positioned role in this large established legal team as well as the overall business and therefore would be suited to an experienced lawyer who can operate at a senior level and lead and motivate a team. Specifically you will:

- be responsible for commercial legal matters in the business encompassing advising on supply, purchase and distribution agreements, IT contracts, intellectual property issues, and confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements;

- manage a small legal team of 4 lawyers; and

- manage the external legal outsourcing across corporate, commercial, and litigation disciplines in the business.
