A top ten, UK International Law Firm urgently requires a an experienced lawer to engage in thrid level review for a large contentious construction matter which they are currently working on.
Responsibilities:
- Filing documents at Court
- Legal research (using Internet and library resources)
- Proof reading draft letters, reports and contracts
- Preparing trial bundles
- Preparing documents for disclosure and Lists of Documents
- Preparing documents for inspection
- Company searches
- Management of large number of files and preparing closed files for storage
- Providing written summaries of judgements
- Attending client meetings
- On occasion, drafting correspondence
- Assisting with other projects or tasks as required
Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- You will liaise with Fee-earners and Partners
- Precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and provide pro-active support to the group
- Reliable and well organised
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Good level of IT literacy and proficiency in Word
