Venn Group's specialist Legal team is excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Solicitor in the East Midlands for a busy Local Authority legal team.
This contract is predicted to last for a minimum period of 3 months whilst recruiting permanently so there is a chance that it could be extended. Ideally the successful candidate could start before Christmas but they will wait until the New Year should a candidate not finish their current contract before Christmas.
The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of Planning Law and procedures, and will have managed their own caseload of matters in a Local Government environment.
The duties on a day-to-day basis are as follows;
- Managing a busy caseload of Planning Law matters
- Preparing s106 agreements and dealing with planning enforcements
- Attending Planning Committee to represent the Local Authority
The position offers an attractive hourly rate of between £25 - £35 per hour and is offered on a full time basis. This is dependant on experience.
