Immediate Start: 3 Month FTC, Dispute Resolution Paralegal at UK Law Firm, up to £28,000 pro rata

One of London’s busiest law firms that is going from strength to strength is looking to recruit a new Dispute Resolution paralegal on an initial 3 month fixed term contract, to assist on a large disclosure.  Duties will include conducting research and communicating findings to Partners and other Fee Earners within the department, tracking projects, tasks assignments and reports to ensure they are running within set timescales, working to set timescales and deadlines, ensuring the clients’ needs and expectations are met and managed at all times, liaising with clients in person, by telephone and in writing, offering clear and concise information, arranging meetings and chasing parties for information and follow up case matters.  Legal work will consist of you preparing and drafting legal documentation for sign off by the Partners or other Fee Earners within the team, proof reading documents on behalf of other Fee Earners, scheduling of large volumes of documents received as part of a transaction and to monitor your own performance in relation to the number of live files, file closures, file openings, billing, time recording and to take appropriate action to ensure targets are met.  Candidates should be proactive, with the ability to work both autonomously and well within a team.  Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30, however a flexible attitude is a must as overtime could crop up.  Previous experience of using Relativity would be advantageous, and candidates need to have previous litigation experience from within a law firm.
