Commercial Lawyer

Our client is a leading provider of public procurement services who are seeking a commercial lawyer with 6 year's PQE to join their West Midlands based legal team.

As part of one of the leading organisations in their sector globally, this business has seen phenomenal growth in recent years and as a result they wish to add another lawyer to their established team. The company provides an array of services to public entities in the UK. As a result, this lawyer will be responsible for providing advice on public and private procurement processes as well as general commercial work inclusive of contractual agreements, tender documentation and terms & conditions.

Responsibilities for the successful lawyer will include:
- Providing legal support for procurement processes between the business and suppliers of services, software, products and equipment.
- Advising on all aspects of public procurement law including procurement procedures, grounds for challenge and remedies.
- Drafting, review and implement template and precedent documents, ensuring that the business are employing correct business practices.

This is an excellent opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders across an ever-expanding business. We would like to hear from qualified solicitors or barristers with six or more years PQE, preferably obtained in a legal environment dealing with public procurement issues.
