Well-established firm in Glamorgan requires an additional Criminal Duty Solicitor for the next allocations.

Centrally located, our client is a high street firm offering a select range of legal services to clients in Swansea and throughout South Wales. With client care at their core, they endeavour to provide first class advice and representation in all instances. Currently experiencing a period of sustained growth, they are seeking to add to their Criminal defence team.

The Role
We are now seeking a dynamic Criminal Duty Solicitor to join our clients’ growing practice in the Swansea area. Commencing with the start of the next rotas (April 2017), the successful Duty Solicitor will manage a demanding caseload of defence matters from arrest to trial as required. The ideal Solicitor will attend clients detained at police stations throughout the area on a rota basis to include weekends and nights. Offences may include theft, murder, road traffic offences, drugs, criminal damage, assault and fraud.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with solid experience in criminal defence.
Additional Duty accreditation is a pre-requisite.
You must have excellent technical and organisational skills to include negotiation and advocacy.
You will be able to assign your slots by the January 2017 deadline in order to commence work at the start of the next allocations.
You will be flexible, client focused and dedicated.
