Senior Legal Counsel Southern Europe, Milan

The world's largest logistics and transportation company, has instructed us to source a Senior Legal Counsel for Southern Europe to be based in Milan.

The role

Reporting to the MD for Legal in Milan, you will handle a very proactive and frontline role that will require a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

The successful candidate will quickly need to establish a strong working relationship with the business team and gain the confidence of the management team generally.

The role will be very business-focused and involve input not only on legal issues but on non-law strategic issues for the country.

Requirements

You will be an Italian qualified lawyer with around 7 years of post-qualified experience gained while working for an international firm and/or multinational company.

The role will require you to handle a broad range of commercial and corporate issues including litigation management, property & real estate, labour and Marketing relates topics, so the successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to the work.

Candidates with international experience through studies and / or work experience gained abroad will be strongly preferred.

Fluency in English is essential to fill this role. Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus.
