My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Business Development / Property Account Director to work within a non-fee earning role managing relationships with existing clients.  This role is a home based position however the successful candidate would be required to spend at least one day per week at the Head Office near Merseyside. The normal weekly hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch to be taken flexibly.   You will be required to travel regularly within the UK.

Previous property experience from either a business development / account director or operations background is essential

 

Duties include:
  • Responsibility for the relationship with your key corporate account(s).
  • Responsibility for maintaining and increasing the revenue and profitability of all account(s).
  • Responsibility for researching and developing new types and streams of business within each account.
  • These new streams of business should be agreed in advance with the sales and Marketing Director and will be detailed in the Account Plan.
  • Maintain senior relationships with the client, up to and including Board level.
  • Ensure that the company is seen as being much more than just a supplier.
  • The firm should be seen as a business partner and the Account Director should establish a consultative relationship with senior staff.
  • Ensure that we maintain or improve our service quality and either meet or exceed the contracted SLA.
  • Develop and own the Account Plan document and present this to the UK management team on at least a six monthly basis.
  • Develop additional streams of business with the account, driven via the account plan and agreed with the Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Organise and run regular review meetings (at intervals as agreed with the Lender). For large clients these would be monthly.
  • Prior to the client meeting, to hold an internal meeting to review Account Plan objectives, progress and next actions. Involving key members of the firm as required.
  • In addition, to review MI prior to client issue and agree in advance any actions required.
  • Action Log: review, progress and agree next actions.
  • Ensure all the firms parties complete their actions from any review meeting within the agreed timescales
