Senior Litigation Lawyer

My client, is a large holding company based in Dubai who are currently seeking a Senior litigation Lawyer.

Responsibilities for the role will include;

• Draft legal opinions from a litigation perspective on the legality of legal issues raised in relation to national laws
• Lead the preparation and review of various contracts and agreements from a litigation perspective to ensure the company interests are protected
• Represent the company and its subsidiaries before all courts, tribunal's, government departments and other legal bodies when managing dispute resolution matters, negotiations and claim settlements
• Lead/coordinate participation in internal investigation committees, ad-hoc and permanent committees and issues involving multidisciplinary issues providing advice from a litigation perspective
• Monitor the work of external counsel to ensure the interests of the company are protected

The ideal candidate will be/have

• A bachelor’s of law (or international equivalent) preferably with a master’s degree
• Must be a native Arabic speaker with a good command of spoken and written English
• Commercial minded with a strong network in the region
