Financial Services Lawyer- UK National Firm, 3-5 PQE, London

Excellent new role for a banking/ financial services lawyer with circa 3-5 years PQE to join the highly successful, highly rated financial services and funds team of a leading national law firm. This is a small practice group that offers genuine 'hands on' experience and work/ life balance. 

Role Profile: 

The team have a strong presence in the two largest financial services in the UK (London and Edinburgh) and having the strongest financial services team in Scotland helps them to differentiate from their City competitors.The firm has a strong client base, including some of the UK's leading fund operators and financial services companies and they are keen to continue their growth.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be experienced in dealing with financial services regulatory issues, and in particular with all types of UK authorised funds, including their formation, making changes to them, and drafting and reviewing documentation with service providers, including investment managers, platforms and other distributors. Experience in dealing with funds in other jurisdictions, particularly involving a retail element, would be a definite advantage. The position involves a great deal of client contact, so candidates must be able to deal directly with the clients, in-house counsel and the FCA. Candidates will also be dynamic, ambitious and intelligent individual with good communications skills.  Business development and presentation skills will also be valuable.
