Private Client Lawyer - Merseyside

Our client is a prominent law firm based in Liverpool City Centre.

Due to recent expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced private client solicitor or legal executive to help manage their private client department.

The ideal candidate will have in excess of 4 years' worth of private client experience at a reputable high street or regional practice.

Work will consist of all manner of private client matters including: will drafting, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, care of the elderly and some court of protection work if so desired.

The successful applicant would be joining an expert team of dedicated and knowledgeable lawyers.

Reporting to the Partners, it is hoped that the successful candidate will become a senior level member of the department from the outset with direct input into day to day management and strategy.

To be considered for this role you will have the following experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes;

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant private client experience (4 years plus PQE)
• Ideally STEP qualified (not essential)
• Ability to assist in the supervision of other team members
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
• Experienced and proficient in the use of case management systems
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under own initiative
