The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a technically brilliant Senior Privacy and Data Protection Solicitor, to join a leading team in London. Advising clients both in the private and public sector, the successful Solicitor will combine their technical expertise in this field with practical advice to deliver exceptional service both nationally and internationally. Duties will include: taking instruction on international projects; drafting, reviewing and amending privacy and data protection documentation; planning and delivering on projects across international borders; project managing teams and; implementing data transfer strategies. Significant data transfer experience and the ability to manage international project teams will, therefore, be essential. Any exposure to wider IPT matters would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE gained within a City, national or large regional firm;
You will be technically competent with good commercial acumen;
You will have previous experience managing international project teams and clients;
You will have an excellent academic record with a minimum of 2:1 gained at degree level;
You will have outstanding communication and client care skills;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will be a pro-active team player, with a proven track record within business development.
