Our client is a leading international law firm who are seeking a senior construction lawyer to join their office in South Africa. The team works with a range of clients across both the private and public sector and deals with transactions both domestically and globally. The team is led by a legal 500 rated partner and has many years experience as a core group within the firm involved in non contentious and contentious construction work predominantly in the South African region.
The team are seeking a construction lawyer with 6 years post articles experience. You will have a very varied client base including property developers, contractors, infrastructure developers, energy companies, retailers, Consultants, transport organisations, power generation companies, water companies, industrial manufacturers, environmental undertakings, Waste disposal, Wind farms, PFI/PPP and Telecommunications. You will be working on complex litigation cases with high profile lawyers to gain top tier insight into the contentious construction sector. You will need to be South African admitted and have experience in a reputable law firm to be eligible for this role.
