Management Accounts Assistant

Our client is an international law firm with almost 30 offices across the globe and over 1000 Lawyers. The firm has won many awards over the years, including International Law Firm of the Year. 

They are now looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be currently studying towards a professional Accountancy qualification. 

Responsibilities

Assisting production, review and distribution of month-end reports

Balance sheet reconciliations 

Maintaining fixed asset spreadsheet

Calculating monthly depreciation charge

Completing annual, quarterly and monthly National Statistics forms.

Uploading journals for all offices.

Analysis of Accounts as required

Producing monthly analysis of expenditure 

Producing monthly Pro-Bono reports

Providing cover for Accounts Payable when required

Assisting in setting up new accounts on the system

Responsible for all aspects of interoffice reconciliations and interoffice invoicing

Assisting on the preparation of the annual expense budget and the half year reforecast.

Candidate Profile

You will have proven Accounts experience, within legal or professional services 

Be actively studying for a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA)

Willingness to develop and learn with the team

Must be enthusiastic and take a pro-active approach to the role 

Excellent knowledge of Excel
