Contracts Lead – Defence Sector

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in its field.

Taking responsibility for contracts with defence customers you will ensure the business delivers in accordance to customers’ requirements and legal obligations. You will play an important role in compliance with Group policy managing the life cycle of contracts through all their variations. Working closely with key stakeholders (business, customers and legal) as well as bid teams you will offer sound legal and commercial advice, managing issues, claims and disputes. The role will also entail implementation of policies and processes, training and know-how development.

You will preferably be a qualified lawyer with a desire to develop your experience into a more commercial role. You will have worked on complex contractual proposals and negotiated with customers, partners and subcontractors. A track record in business decisions and ability to influence stakeholders whilst offering creative solutions is key. Defence contracting experience is essential.
