Global services company based in Central London require a Senior Legal Counsel to cover a nine month period of maternity leave, which is likely to extend to twelve months.
About The Role
The Senior Legal Counsel will work in a largely stand-alone role to provide key strategic support to the sales and distribution teams in a number of international territories. The company is looking to move towards a more automated and technologically-advanced system of corporate contracting, and require a high-calibre commercial lawyer to develop policies to manage legal risk during the course of this project. You will also be advising on other areas of law including:
- Complex partnership contracts
- Consumer protection
- Data protection
- Financial services issues
- Intellectual property
About You
You will be a UK qualified lawyer, ideally with at least 5 years PQE but applications from all levels will be considered. It is essential that you have previous experience in the financial services sector (as this organisation is FCA regulated). You will have a proven track record with complex commercial negotiations, ideally on an international basis. You must also possess excellent relationship-building skills as this role involves liaising with multiple stakeholders across the business.
This role starts at the end of January.
