We are seeking an experienced Real Estate solicitor to join our well established Commercial Property team in Derbyshire. We have two roles one in the Chesterfield office and the other in the Mansfield office.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious property lawyer looking to undertake great quality work and grow their career within a fast paced and fun legal environment. We are keen to hear from individuals with sector specialisms that they would be keen to develop.

Responsibilities of the Role

* Manage a caseload of Commercial Property files including leasehold transactions, freehold purchases and sales, business acquisitions and disposals.

* Build credibility with clients and develop your own client relationships through successfully managing client expectations

* Begin to develop a niche/ sector expertise and demonstrate expertise to clients

* Assist in marketing the department and firm's services including speaking at seminars and attending networking events.

* Give technical, business and general advice to junior lawyers and support staff to assist their personal development

* Delegate tasks and client work to junior lawyers and support staff as appropriate, providing clear guidelines and monitoring progress.

About You

* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE

* Depth of experience within Commercial Property Law

* Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service.

* Positive Attitude to Work- Approaches work with positivity and energy and thrives in a busy environment.

* Effective Communicator- Clearly conveys information and ideas through the relevant media. Speaks in Plain English.
