Private Client PSL 5+

Our client is seeking an experienced Private Client lawyer to join its market leading Private Client team in a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) capacity. The successful applicant will be responsible for the full range of PSL tasks, including updating the team on legislative developments, with particular focus on changes to the UK taxation landscape; researching and preparing technical papers for internal training and external marketing and business development purposes; collating and disseminating know-how to fee earners; co-ordinating the department's legal training and delivering elements of that training where appropriate; and assisting fee-earners with technical legal queries.

It is essential that the person who takes this role has a strong working knowledge and experience of both domestic and offshore tax and trusts, and multi-jurisdictional tax and estate planning. Candidates must be UK qualified (or have completed the QLTT) and have at least 5 years PQE coming from a recognised firm with a strong private client practice. Previous PSL experience is not essential, however experience of professional support / know-how type activities would be very beneficial, and the successful applicant is likely to be very experienced in writing (such as articles/updates, talks and presentations.

Please note that this role is a fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave which is expected to last 12 months, and the team is happy to accommodate someone who wishes to work either on a full-time or part-time basis.
