With particular strengths in areas including property and private client, they are now seeking a talented Community Care Fee Earner.
The Role
Due to expansion, a rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Community Care Fee Earner to join a specialist team in Southampton. Becoming part of a dedicated, specialist team; the successful Fee Earner will manage a varied and demanding caseload, representing clients in all types of Community Care work. The caseload will include: health and social care provisions; health and welfare decision making; NHS continuing care; safeguarding; discrimination; right to treatment; carers assessments; personal health budgets; housing and; mental health aftercare. The ideal Fee Earner will have additional experience with judicial reviews and mental health with strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

The Candidate
You must be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with knowledge of community care and court of protection matters;
You will have outstanding communication and client care skills;
Previous experience in judicial review and mental health matters is desirable but not essential;
You will be able to organise your workload, to meet tight deadlines;
You will be a pro-active team player, with a desire for professional development.
