Our client, a highly regarded City law firm is seeking a funds lawyer as soon as possible for up to 6 months on a fixed term contract or daily rate basis. The role has arisen due to the team experiencing a busy workload.
The firm has a strong client base, including some of the UK's leading fund operators and financial services companies and they are keen to continue their growth.
The successful individual will ideally be a 3+ PQE funds lawyer with experience in dealing with financial services regulatory issues, and in particular with all types of UK authorised funds, including their formation, making changes to them, and drafting and reviewing documentation with service providers, including investment managers, platforms and other distributors.
Experience in dealing with funds in other jurisdictions, particularly involving a retail element, would be a distinct advantage.
This role is ideally due to start this month, or at the beginning of January at the latest.
