Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed conveyancer
Head of department- - Northampton
An opportunity has come up for a qualified conveyancing lawyer to join the reisdential property team of a highly regarded high street type practice in central Northampton.
The current head of department within the firm is planning to retire in the near future and the firm are therefore looking to bring someone in to initially work alongside this person before taking over the running of the department in the future.
The role would suit a qualified solicitor ideally with a minimum of 10 years PQE experience of dealing with residential property matters, ideally within a small or medium sized practice.
The firm adopts very much a quality over quantity approach to the way that it operates in all its practice areas, especially within conveyancing. They prefer to focus on individual client care and service and are therefore very far removed from the high volume target driven type of environment and the firm are very traditional in this sense. They have a very strong department that is extremely well regarded in the local area and further afield.
The firm as a whole is made up of 10 lawyers (plus support staff) so it is not the largest firm in the area in terms of head count but they are nonetheless extremely well regarded for the quality of the service that they provide and have a loyal client base of returning clients as well as a steady flow of work from clients that have come from recommendations, cross referrals from other departments and as a result of their reputation in the market.
