THE COMPANY
Our client, a well-established securities business is seeking a 3 PQE+ Regulatory Lawyer to join their team. The client is keen on looking at a lawyers looking to move into a regulatory advisory role.
- Identify and understand all regulatory change that will affect the bank such as the impact of MIFID, Dodd Frank, EMIR
- Create, lead and work specialist project teams that will be responsible for identifying and implementing any changes that need to take place within the business to remain compliant. The teams will include heads of business: Compliance, Risk, Operations
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- UK qualified lawyer ideally with 4 years PQE+* as a regulatory, corporate or finance lawyer with a good understanding of how a large bank operates
- Have a good understanding of regulations including MIFID, EMIR
*Candidates outside of this bracket will be considered if they are able to demonstrate the prerequisite experience required.
