THE FIRM
A leading and highly regarded US firm with a strong corporate team in London.
THE ROLE
To provide expertise on questions of law and practice (particularly in relation to UK company law) in supporting transactions, to proactively manage corporate precedents and know-how and assist in the training and development of our corporate lawyers in the London Office.
The role's activities are often keyed to and driven by current and anticipated transaction activity, especially when the corporate team is doing IPO and Takeover Code work and technical queries are more likely to arise.
THE PERSON
* Strong background in UK based corporate law with a recognised firm. At least 5PQE in corporate law.
* Experience in public company/Equity Capital Markets matters is essential.
* You will need to have up-to-date expertise in the Takeover Code, Companies Act and relevant parts of the FCA Handbook (Listing/Transparency/Disclosure/Prospectus).
* Previous PSL experience is not essential.
