Industrial Disease Junior Paralegal

Our client, an internationally recognised firm, is looking for an Industrial Disease Junior Paralegal / Legal Assistant to come and join their Leeds based team.

As an Industrial Disease Junior Paralegal, you will be assisting a Claimant team with their files, in accordance to both internal and external standards. Your duties will include opening files, making initial phone calls, maintaining contact with clients throughout the file, requesting and accessing relevant documents such as medical records, vetting claims and assisting fee earners on other tasks.

It is essential that candidates will have a minimum of 6 months experience as an Industrial Disease Junior Paralegal dealing with NIHL cases at a pre-litigated stage, whether it is your own caseload or supporting a Fee Earner; both will be considered.

For the right candidate, progression will be available up to Fee Earner stage and after 6 month, internal applications are welcomed to other areas of the business.
