Highly regarded practice seeks Head of Litigation with Business Development expertise!

Although relatively young they have experienced continual growth since their inception which is reflected in their vast client base and their dedicated team of lawyers and support staff, many who are specialists in their field. The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Head of Litigation to join a busy department in London. With the skills and expertise to head up a team of fee earners and support staff, alongside managing a busy and varied caseload, the successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will handle a mix of civil and commercial litigation from instruction to resolution. Areas will incorporate: professional negligence; insolvency; contractual disputes; debt recovery; directors and shareholder disputes and; contentious probate.

Passionate about business development, the successful Head of Litigation will immerse themselves within initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships and promoting the services of the department to generate new business. A following of clients would be highly advantageous but is not essential. The Candidate
You must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5-8 years’ PQE gained within Litigation;
You will have excellent communication and client care skills;
You must have previous supervisory experience;
A following of clients to bring to the practice is advantageous but not essential;
You will have strong commercial acumen and excellent technical skills;
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines;
You will have strong business development expertise.
