They offer a supportive working environment and structured career progression for staff and are currently undergoing a period of expansion, requiring a pro-active and ambitious Family and Child Care Solicitor for their office in Sheffield.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Family and Child Care Solicitor to join a specialist team on a permanent basis. With the skills and expertise to competently run a caseload of files, the successful Solicitor will predominantly handle Child Care cases, representing parents and family members in care proceedings including: Public Law Outline meetings; Care Orders; Special Guardianship Order; Child Protection Conferences and; Supervision Orders. Experience of legal aid in family or care proceedings would be highly advantageous. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of one years’ PQE gained within Family;
You will ideally be a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel or working towards it;
You will have excellent communication and client care skills across all levels;
You will be IT Literate with particular expertise using Microsoft Office applications;
You will be pro-active, flexible and detail orientated;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
