Housing Litigation Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the West Midlands for an on-going contract expected to be for a minimum of 3 months.

Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers, Legal Executives and non-qualified Lawyers who have the relevant experience working within a Local Government organisation.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Housing litigation work to include homelessness, possession claims, disrepair (claiming and defending) and all issues surrounding tenancy agreements
• Dealing with injunctions, social behaviour and legislative changes
• Attending Court and tribunals, undertaking advocacy where required

This is an excellent opportunity, and offers an attractive hourly rate of £25 per hour dependant on experience.
